The new fashion capital of Milan via New Haven,
Sogno Boutique of Dreams (83B Audubon St) hosted the "II Giardino Italiano" Fashion Show June 10th 2006.
The show, part of Arts on the Edge, helps kicked off the first day of the International Festival of Arts and Ideas.
The Audubon Arts District was transformed into lively street fair featuring wares from local designers.
“While you can expect a lot of fabulous fashion, don't expect to see your typical rail thin models.
Sogno's supermodels, aged 5 to 50, represent the boutique's eclectic clientele,
and so expect to see women who are petite, statuesque, athletic, curvaceous, and beautiful, inside and out.”
These women worked the catwalk in everything from casual weekend outfits to stunning eveningwear,
with accessories ranging from understated to show-stopping glamorous.
